March 2015 marked a milestone for aviation and energy. Solar Impulse-2, Andre Borschbeg piloting, flew from Abu Dhabi to Oman in 12 hours; it was the first leg of a round the world attempt. Sharing piloting with Betrand Piccard, the modern day “Wright Brothers” may prove the future of aviation is solar.
