March 12, 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the World Wide Web. Perhaps never in history has a development in civilization swept the globe more quickly, transforming everyday life into a future only imagined when ComSat was launched. Sir Tim Berners-Lee, credited with its invention, declares the need for the world wide web to develop its own Magna Carta: “It has become so important, so much a part of our lives, that it becomes on a level of human rights.”
