The Makersapce schedule is expanding as we add new student employees. You might want to Call Us before coming to make sure someone is there to help you.
The Makerspace is open through January, but at a reduced rate. Please call first to ensure the lab is open before coming, or email us to schedule a meeting time.
Location & Directions
The Makerspace is located in the Old Science Building (not the ISC!) Take the elevators to the 3rd floor, then take the far right hallway down to room 34, following signs for the Makerspace.

If you’re driving:
Point your GPS to “UMass Boston West Garage”. From the garage exit, cross the street and enter the Quinn Admin Building, follow the hallway in the UL floor past the loading dock, and turn left after the Quinn Graphics office. Take the elevator up to the 2nd floor, then follow signs in the “Catwalk” (elevated, glassed-in walkway) for the Science Building (Note: the “Science Building” is separate from the “Integrated Science Complex”). Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and follow signs for the Makerspace.
If you’re taking the T:
Take the Red Line to JFK/UMass station then take the free “Route 1” shuttle bus to the Campus Center. Take the elevator up to the 2nd floor, and reach the “Catwalk” (elevated, glassed-in walkway) following signs for the Science Building (Note: the “Science Building” is separate from the “Integrated Science Complex”). Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and follow signs for the Makerspace.
