I am an undergraduate at UMass Boston in the School for the Environment, as well as a student in the UMass Honors College. Some of my academic interests include glacial geology and coastal geomorphology. Through UMB, I have had the pleasure of being able to work outside of the United States in both the Azores and Brazil. I have worked for the Center for Coastal Studies conducting field research and processing side scan sonar data.
My current research conducted through the CaPE Lab relates to overwash processes at Ballston Beach in Truro, Massachusetts. I plan to graduate from UMB in May of 2018 with a B.S. in Environmental Science and hope to enroll in a graduate program after a couple years of work experience.
