By 11:59pm on Tuesday, June 23, please send a picture of your handwritten notes that you intend to use on the midterm to potasznik@cs.umb.edu. Fan out the pages so that part of each page is visible (do not take a picture of each individual page). If your notes are two-sided, send one picture of the group of pages from the front, and one after flipping the group over (keep them fanned out). Remember that you are allowed up to 30 pages of notes.

I will respond to that email with approval sometime on the day before the exam (June 24).

Without this approval email, you will not be allowed to use any notes on the test.

The exam will be taken via Blackboard. You are allowed to have Blackboard tabs open throughout the exam; we will also have a live class session happening as you take the test so you can ask questions in real time. Having other tabs open (such as the class slide page from our website, or other sites unrelated to the course) will result in a flag on your test, and the exam grade will be changed to 0.
