If you haven’t been monitoring your grades in this class, please do so now. If you see something that generates confusion, please let me know. At the end of the semester I will be fully focused on grading final papers and submitting grades to the registrar; that would not be a good time for you to email me asking why you have a low grade for something that was turned in months ago.

Please refrain from asking me questions like “What do I need on my final paper to pass this class?” or “What would my grade be if I got a B on WW6?” These are valid questions for yourself, but you should not expect your professor to calculate them for you. Instead, use the information you find on the syllabus (hint: the grade percentages are in section 3) and blackboard, and use your math skills.
