UMass Boston has appointed David McFarlane as the new Director of the Entrepreneurship Center (EC) at the of College of Management.  The EC is dedicated to enhancing the entrepreneurial education for our students by providing hands-on practice and experience in building start-up businesses and entrepreneurial careers. McFarlane will share his 25 years of knowledge and experience managing “hyper growth” in the software industry and discuss his record of successful IPOs, M&A exits, how to build a successful executive team and give advice on how to properly launch a start-up business. The presentation will be followed by a cocktail reception with complimentary hors d’oeuvres, limited bar and connecting with UMass Club Members and the UMass Boston community.
