What is the CMWA?

  • The College of Management Writing Assessment Placement Exam
  • The CMWA placement score on WISER enables students to register for either BC 230 or BC 290
  • The CMWA Placement Exam is NOT the Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE)
  • Anyone can take the CMWA-however, it is only required for CM major students who intend to matriculate into 300/400 level CM classes for degree completion.
