All College of Management students have an academic advisor that they should consult with before registration, or making other significant decisions regarding their schedule, enrollment plans, or graduation path.
CM students with a declared concentration can see any of the advisors in the College of Management Undergraduate Program Office during walk-in hours. While there is no advising hold on CM students with declared concentrations that mandates advising, you are still strongly encouraged to meet with someone each semester.
CM students who do not have a declared concentration see an advisor in the University Advising Center (UAC). There is a hold on the registration record each semester as well, which makes advising mandatory. UAC advisors are assigned to students with the following alphabetical split:
– Christyn Carey: see students with last names A-E
– Michael Mahan: see students with last names F-Liz
– Jim McCarthy: see students with last names Lo-R
– Fatmata Jah-Sesay: see students with last names S-Z
Students in special programs such as Management LEAD, the honors program, or student athletics may have an additional advisor as well.
The name of your personal academic advisor can be found on your student center on Wiser.
