CFA Scholarship Application

The College of Management is participating in the CFA University Affiliation Program. We are listed on the CFA Institute website and entitled to award CFA Program Awareness Scholarships to ten students this fiscal year.The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a globally respected, graduate-level investment credential established in 1962 and awarded by CFA Institute, which is widely recognized and respected in the financial industry. To earn the CFA charter, candidates must pass three sequential, six-hour examinations.1 The scholarship waives the one-time CFA Program enrollment fee (if applicable) and reduces the exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US $350.

Fall 2019 Course Highlight: MSIS 632 Introduction to Healthcare Informatics

The course provides an overview of relevant topics in healthcare information technology and assumes students have little knowledge about healthcare, information technology, and the affiliation between the two.

Students will gain a foundational understanding of various concepts in HIT and will have an opportunity to debate the appropriateness and feasibility of new HIT development capacities.

U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, TX regional office job openings

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of Evaluation and Inspections (OEI) has posted several job openings for Social Science Research Analysts in our Dallas, TX regional office.  The positions are entry-level, and open to recent graduates (graduation dates May 2017-Aug 2019) and current students.

OEI conducts national evaluations to measure the effectiveness of HHS policies and programs.  These evaluations provide decision-makers in HHS and Congress with analysis of high-impact issues within HHS operating divisions, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  Our organization was ranked #1 in HHS by the Partnership for Public Service’s “Best Places to Work in the Federal Government” 2018 ratings.  You can learn more about OEI and view examples of our work at https://oig.hhs.gov/about-oig/about-us/office-of-evaluation-and-inspections.asp.

  • Make use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to Attract, Engage, Convert & Retain Customers through the Curation, Creation & Distribution of Compelling Content across paid and organic Digital Marketing Channels to achieve Social Growth through Brand Storytelling, Thought Leadership, Influencer & Community Management.
  • Learn nuances and best practices of: Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), Lead Generation, Inbound / Outbound Marketing, Database Management, Social Growth across Social Networks and Messaging Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, WeChat and WhatsApp for distribution of content such as Blogs, EDM, Games, Infographics, Memes, Photographs, Posts, PPT, Reviews and Video.
