The Office of Career Services provides support to students and alumni of the University through a career specialist in each of the University’s major academic areas.
We welcome you to reach out to William Farrick, Career Services & Employer Relations Specialist for the College of Management. Bill is available to help students with resumes, cover letters, interview skills and basic career exploration.
Handshake is another great resource! Handshake is a college career network with a mission to democratize access to opportunity and to help every college student find the right job for them. They connect college students and alumni to a comprehensive national network.
On campus networking opportunities include a yearly Business Career Fair in the Fall (October) and a University Wide Career Fair for all majors and academic levels. These events provide a chance to interact with more than 100 employers who want to connect with UMass Boston students and alumni for full-time and part-time career opportunities.
The Office of Global Programs is dedicated to international education and engagement. This office can assist with on and off campus employment for our International students and we encourage you to explore Curricular Practical Training (CPT) as well as Optional Practical Training (OPT).
