Each year, Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business organizes the Intercollegiate Business Convention, a forum for driven young women to discuss relevant and emerging trends, gain both concrete skills and applicable advice, and join a network of encouraging peers and inspiring professionals who will guide and engage them throughout their careers. Now in its tenth year, IBC attracts over 1,200 registrants and over 100 professionals from a diverse range of industries. This year, IBC attendees will have the opportunity to hear from three inspirational keynote speakers: Lyndsey Scott, Maureen Chiquet, and Jill Abramson. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from speakers in a variety of fields on panels and workshops throughout the day. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to build their professional network during the career fair and networking sessions with company representatives. There will be representatives from over 100 companies in attendance including Facebook, Goldman Sachs, Oliver Wyman, Morgan Stanley, and Saks Fifth Avenue, so this is a great opportunity for those students who are looking to secure a job or internship for next summer.

IBC 2014 will be held on Saturday October 18 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. The convention is the keystone event of Women in Business Weekend, which will be held from Thursday to Sunday, October 16-19, 2014. The weekend will be composed of social events and additional learning opportunities, including innovation workshops, networking events, and the launch of our annual publication, Make it Happen Magazine.
