iPad VGA adapt to project on screen

Students in Professor Amy Todd’s Anthro 113G  and Anth 273 and students in Professor Cat Mazza’s Art 380 got a chance to work with iPads today.    It seems the biggest challenge to our program is finding staff to move the cart around from class to class.  We are busy coordinating the schedules of  ten classes sharing one cart   in classrooms located in two different buildings!

Professor  Cat Mazza was able to project her ipad on the plasma screen in the classroom to show her students using the VGA adapter to do this. The cart carries a VGA adapter, a wireless router, and a macbook.  We are trying to figure out  whether we can use an  apple tv to  enable students to project the content of their iPads onto the plasma using mirroring so they can share their work among themselves. Jeff Wade, Brian Butler and John Mazzarella are working on this.  Our support team meet  challenges every day- and  comes up with plenty of problem-solving strategies.
