Graduate Program Offices Open During Construction

Area Under Construction image.V1 The Graduate Program Office is currently undergoing space renovations in our McCormack offices.

Fortunately, the work has been in progress over the winter session, and completion is expected sometime over the next few weeks of Spring 2016 semester.

During this time, the Graduate Program Office does remain open.The GPO staff, (Tara, Jeff and Steve), have been temporarily relocated.

Interim Office Locations

  • Tara is located in McCormack-5th floor, Room 5-254.
    She can best be reached via email: Tara.Norton@umb.edu
  • Steve is located in McCormack-5th floor Room 5-207, (the office directly across from the GPO renovations).
    He can be best reached at Steve.Sze@umb.edu
  • Jeff is located at the Bayside campus, lower level office.
    He can be best reached via email: Jeffrey.Masse@umb.ed

Thank-you for your patience and flexibility as we undergo these renovations.

Bayside Campus Open House

This fall, the College of Management expanded its classrooms and many accounting courses and the Professional MBA courses are held at the Bayside Campus location.

We would like to invite you to visit the space on Monday, October 19th, 4:00pm-5:45pm. Bayside Campus is located at 150 Mount Vernon Street, the Open House will take place in the Lower Level- Suffolk Room (click here for an interactive map and directions).

Tonight at 5:30 – Expanded Bottle Bill Debate – Join Us!

Join us tonight for a debate on the expanded bottle bill. Moderated by Interim Dean Maureen Scully, this debate will weigh the pros and cons of the expanded bottle bill which will likely be a ballot question in this November’s election. Business Launch Competition Finalist Presentations

Join us for this exciting annual event!  Hear the top student entrepreneurs at UMass Boston describe their business launch, as they compete for $15,000 in prizes!  Find out about the newest, fastest growing ventures on campus, meet the Entrepreneurship Center board, and learn how you can get involved.

BUSINESS LAUNCH COMPETITION FINALIST PRESENTATIONS

 

Fourteen student-based startups have been competing over the last sixty days to show who can make the most progress in launching their start-up. Come and hear the six finalists present!

Prizes Awarded:

1st Prize: $1,500 + $10,000 Value Legal Consulting Package provided by Gunderson Dettmer
