NOAA releases new State of the Coast Tool

Today the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration launched their new "State of the Coast" website, that functions as a tool for exploring the vast economic, social, and human welfare implications of unhealthy coastal systems. As stated by NOAA, this tool offers "coastal managers, planners and officials at all levels of government a snapshot of statistics, facts and graphics about America’s 95,000-miles of coastline."

With interactive graphics, statistics, and case studies at the national and regional level, this is a great tool for anyone who is looking for a quick overview.
