David Porter Vincent, circa 1880-1899

In 1891, David Porter Vincent was issued a patent for his invention of a bicycle frame that minimized jostling, which in turn created a sturdier, safer frame. The patent includes written specifications on the invention and figures. The image is of the first page of the original patent issued to Vincent.
