For this week’s actor profile I decided to talk about an actor who is pretty well known, but now and again when I mention his name in conversation, people seem to forget the vast career that he has had. Today I am talking about Academy Award nominated actor Don Cheadle. Cheadle has had such a long film career and is also feature in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War (Russo and Russo, 2018). However, nowadays it seems like everyone and their brother is in a superhero film, and especially this upcoming blockbuster. Cheadle plays Iron Man’s right hand man James Rhodes or War Machine, and while this profile could be all about the Marvel Universe I think it might be more helpful to look at the other projects that he has worked on.
Cheadle would also become the lead man in the five season television program House of Lies (Carnahan, 2012-2016) in where he played Marty Kaan. He would also play the main character in the outstanding film Hotel Rwanda (George, 2004). 2004 would be a big year for “The Cheadle” as he would star in the Oscar Award Winning film Crash (Haggis, 2004).  He would also be a leading character in the Ocean’s Eleven (Soderbergh, 2001).
