There are a number of ways for faculty, students, and community members to get involved with University Archives & Special Collections programs and initiatives, from assistance with collections management and building, to work with the Mass. Memories Road Show, to scheduling class visits or assignments as part of academic coursework.
Faculty: Schedule an Archival Research Instruction session for your class
Working with UASC is a great way to give students hands-on experience working with historical archival materials and primary sources. Archival Research Instruction sessions can consist of general archival and research instruction and activities or can, with notice, be adapted to address different course topics, themes, and assignments.
- Click here to complete our Research Instruction Session registration form.
- If you have any questions, please email library.archives@umb.edu.
- The scheduling of Archival Research Instruction sessions is dependent upon the availability of University Archives and Special Collections staff and are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
