Urban Scholars Program: Georges Island

Everyone has their own history. These histories are passed from generation to generation so that the events would be remembered.  Georges Island tells a story of Civil War soldiers that were prisoners.

Going on this trip with the Urban Scholars was amazing. Katia and I got to ride on the ship for the first time, walking through the darkest tunnel reliving the history and exploring all other fun things that were on the Island.
