Urban Scholars: Six Flags Trip

On Tuesday, August11th, Urban Scholars visited Six Flags, which officially concluded their summer activities. The students and staff had a tremendous amount of fun going on rides and playing games. After the trip, the program coordinator Suamy Ventura, gathered everyone around and said “It has been a bittersweet day. This is the last trip of a great summer, and it makes me sad because I’m really going to miss you guys.” After her closing remarks, everyone shared a hug, took a group picture, and said their final goodbyes. It was a great pleasure participating in the event and a huge pleasure covering the program as well.
