TAG’s Performing Arts Event

On June 31, I attended an event hosted by the Talented and Gifted (TAG) Latino program that focused on demonstrating a few of the things that they’ve been working on over the summer. The students had three different acts that included: dancing, spoken word poetry and a play entitled “Best Friends.

Each segment was amazing, the hard work of the TAG students really showed as they rocked the house. My favorite part of the event was the play, which focused on the life of a teenager before the last days of graduation and the theme of racial equality.

It was an amazing performance with excellent acting from the students, whose work was highly praised with a roar of applause at the end of the show.
