A Visit From Dr. Charles A. Steinberg

On August 1, Urban Scholars students met with Dr. Charles A. Steinberg. Steinberg is an executive vice president & senior advisor to the president of the Boston Red Sox. While he was here, he spoke with students about his journey from college to Major League Baseball (MLB). He also spoke about the history of the Red Sox and presented a short clip of his contributions to the Red Sox, Fenway Park, and the city of Boston. There was also a Q&A session where lucky students won gifts such as helmets, baseballs, and magazines.
