Nora Katz
Associate Director of Participatory Archiving Programs
Nora manages the Mass. Memories program, including working with communities to produce Mass. Memories Road Shows, supporting people using the Roadmap for Participatory Archiving, and managing our consulting work. She also leads the team of UMass Boston staff and volunteers to provide event-day logistics during the Road Show and directs post-production processing.
Andrew Elder
University Archivist and Curator of Special Collections
Andrew contributes to program strategic planning, event-day logistics, and post-event collections preservation and processing.
Meghan Bailey
Associate Archivist for Collection Management
Meghan is responsible for the digital preservation of the photographs, videos, and stories collected at Mass. Memories Road Show events.

Joanne Riley
Former Dean of University Libraries and Digital Initiatives Archivist
Joanne originated and was the founding director of the Mass. Memories Road Show program.
Carolyn Goldstein
Former Public History and Community Archives Program Manager
Carolyn coordinated the Mass. Memories Road Show program and managed the program’s growth from 2013 to 2025. She remains at UMass Boston as an adjunct faculty member in the history department.
Sarah Collins
Former Community Archives Grant Project Manager
From 2019 to 2022, through a grant from the Institute for Museums and Library Sciences, Sarah oversaw UASC’s efforts to create an accessible, adaptable, and engaging “roadmap” to guide libraries of all kinds and sizes through the process of planning event-based participatory archiving programs with the communities they serve. The Mass. Memories Road Show is produced by University Archives and Special Collection (UASC) in the Joseph P. Healey Library at UMass Boston, and all members of the UASC team contribute to the program in a variety of essential ways. The UASC team:
