American schools need native speakers of Chinese, and there are opportunities for native speakers from diverse professional backgrounds to teach in American schools. Because the educational system in China is different from our American system,  and because native  speakers of Chinese have different content area knowledge all can benefit  from training in the areas of    curriculum, methods,   the American educational system,  and  school  and classroom culture.
