The ELEVATE hub seeks to establish a place for CS undergraduate women of color at UMB, and women of color studying CS outside the university setting, to create technology projects, design and publish research studies, build technology skills, strengthen ethical decision-making, promote community, and just vibe. The only problem? It doesn’t quite exist yet. Cohort 1 has submitted their paper to a national conference, but faculty advisors are still seeking funding to enable the travel to the conference and startup funding for the hub. Can you help?
