If you are feeling stressed and overwhelmed by the workload of the semester, here are some helpful tips to reduce stress and relax.
- Keep a positive attitude- remember the reason why you are working hard, it is worth it!
- Practice relaxation techniques- meditation, yoga, etc.
- Exercise regularly- even if it’s a short walk, exercise is proven to reduce stress
- Get enough sleep and rest- your body needs time to recover from stressful situations
- Learn to manage time more effectively- meet with a CM MASTer to learn some tips!
- Seek out social support- mentor, MASTer, advisor, family member, friend.
