Monday’s Tip of the Week: First Day of Classes!

School is finally here and no better way to start off the semester, than by introducing yourself to your new professors and classmates! Although this may seem a little strange and you may be shy, making yourself memorable is important to start off the semester strong.

  • Be on time to your classes. Ideally it is recommended to go a little earlier, so you can find a good seat in the front of the class for the rest of the semester
  • If the professor is already in the classroom, introduce yourself before the class begins! This will help get rid of any nervousness you may have about being in a new professor’s class.
  • Talk to the people around you. If you get the chance before or after class to hang out, this is a great time to introduce yourself. These peers will come in handy when you are trying to make up groups or start study groups.

Stay tuned for more great tips for the upcoming semester!

We hope you have a great first day.
