Show your Talent!
Today, Urban Scholars had their annual talent show. Students get really excited to participate and gain points for their teams.
Urban Scholars mostly focuses on academics, however, they also try to make the summer institute a fun and exciting time for students. They organized many different afternoon activities, and one of the events was a talent show. Students displayed their talents, and had lots of fun.
Some kids sang karaoke, many danced, one student did magic tricks. The teaching assistants even joined in on the fun!
Students also learned skills while preparing for the talent show. For example they worked together in a team and learned how to communicate respectfully with their fellow peers. All the students and staff had an amazing time where they let loose and have fun.
