We have a guest lecture in CS460 today: Jasmine Roberts will talk about a career in computer graphics. Jasmine is an AR/VR specialist and currently at the Google Creative Labs in NYC. Before, she worked at Unity, NASA, Playstation, and Intel. Jasmine studied at Columbia, the MIT Media Lab, and the Harvard School of Design. Jasmine also was a Fellow at Oculus Launch Pad and Mozilla XR Studios.

In accordance with a UMB request, I have submitted midterm warning grades in Wiser. For your information, here is how I calculated each category:

Satisfactory (SAT): you currently have an average of 80 or above in class.

Caution (CAU): you currently have an average between 70 and 79.9 in class.

Failing (FAI): you currently have an average below 70.0 in class.

At this point, there is plenty of time to turn a grade around. Regardless of your current grade, please ensure that you are prepared in class each day with homework, and also for your larger assignments (midterm, project).

Unwritten Rules in the workplace workshop-What are some uncommon workplace rules that are not written in the companys’ manual that can help you succeed.
