We like the way the Boston Foundation broadly defines innovation in its The Hub of Innovation project. It lists forward-looking products, programs, and practices in many different areas, such as civic vitality, arts, economy, education, environment, health, and housing.
Here on campus, we think the Boston Science Partnership is a great example of innovation. It draws on decades of research on how people learn, creates a new learning model and rolls it out into the public school system.
