If you’ve heard about UMass Boston’s new IT-supported wiki service (using Wikispaces Private Label) for faculty and staff (still in "pilot mode" at the moment) you can learn more by attending the Educational Technology Conference on May 15. See how some members of the English department have already begun using it with students, and stick around for a run-through of the many features of the wiki.

Visit our UMB demo wiki, for examples of a some of the features of the Wikispaces platform. It may be easy to use, but it is still extremely capable.

Please remember that the wiki is still being "piloted", which means we’re still making changes and getting things ready. Sometimes being a pioneer can be a bit bumpy, but if you have questions about the wiki, would like to create a wiki for your own use, or would like wiki training, send email to wiki.admin@umb.edu.
