The Algebra 2 class spent six weeks learning the ins and outs of the quadratic equation through interactive classwork and homework assignments. We explored exponents, factoring, the quadratic formula, and features of a quadratic equation in our journey. Once we built our background knowledge, we began to investigate real-world examples. In our final project, we used the Olympic Games to conceptualize and externalize a quadratic’s trajectory.
