The goal of this art workshop was to encourage growing artists to use household items to make meaningful art. Our homes have many household items that can be repurposed. For example, did you know you could paint with tea? Artists will have the opportunity to mix different materials that may not seem like “art materials.” For example, drawing with crayons on paper and using Vaseline to smudge colors together or seeing how rubbing alcohol affects markers on paper. There are endless possibilities inside and outside of your home! We will mix materials and re-purpose objects to make art that speaks to what you care about in your community. Artists can pull inspiration from their seminars to fuel their creativity!
