We are excited to introduce an Emerging Scholars Circle SIG at MATSOL! We are three multilingual women of color, first-generation doctoral international students who want invite graduate students, educators, and teachers interested in social justice-oriented research centered around equity, diversity, inclusion, and empowerment to join us. We want to create a space for dialogue where, together, we can explore how to publish and navigate academia, make our classroom inclusive, and create opportunities for social justice topics. We are also going to think about how we can all better advocate for ourselves and everyone in the field.
