Summer Transportation Institute: Nasa Challenge

On Monday July 14, students from the Summer Transport Institute worked on a challenge from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Students are expected to build boxes that emit ultraviolet rays. When they are finished, they will present their work to NASA via video chat. I spoke with some of the students and one of them said, “It was difficult to build the boxes at first, but in the end it worked out pretty well.” Another student told me, “ Video chatting with NASA was very interesting because you get to speak with them face to face instead of just reading articles about them.”
