Final Project Showcase: Urban Scholars

On Wednesday, August 7, Urban Scholars hosted a Final Project Showcase Day. The students at Urban Scholars had to present the projects they had been working on in their classes. We had the chance to see the robotics class in action. In the robotics class, they made mini solar power cars for their final project showcase. It was great to see the cars moving. Other students presented on poster boards, and one of them was about hunger. They explained how hunger was everywhere and how important it is to address it. With the day ending, the students said their goodbyes, and left with a sense of great accomplishment.
