Urban Scholars Field Day
August 11th, 2016 was Urban Scholars Field Day. Last chance for the teams to compete for points before the winner team was announced on the USCARS. Teams were required to prepare a dance, a song and design a team shirt. There were a variety of team competitions and everyone had a chance to participate in a least one.
Deion represented the green team, took on the Stack Attack challenge!
Blue Teams did their performance, throwing some flames at the other team!
One of the red team member did an attempt on the Stack Attack challenge!
- Green Team cheered for their teammates for successfully completing one of the challenges in Minute to Win it!
- Some students were nervous because they were under time pressure.
- Blue team captain took on Stack Attack challenge for a minute, although she was only able to successfully stack the cup into a pyramid shape.
- Zheen accepted the challenge to do Stack Attack!
- Here is a picture of blue team’s performance! The group dance synced to the song beat so well!
- Everyone applauded the Blue Teams dance
- Blue team shoed off their shirts design!
- Green team was the largest team of the summer.
- Green Team made sure their dance flashed their individual art design on the back of their shirt!
- Green team did a powerful team chant!
- Red Team showed off their t shirts.
- Orange Team posed with their banner.
