Urban Scholars’ Suffolk University Tour
The rising seniors and juniors of the Urban Scholars program visited the Suffolk University campus on July, 15. Students learned the many reasons that pre-collegiates apply to the university, saw one of the residence halls, and got to take a peek at one of the school’s libraries.
Their tour guides, who are current students at the university, also informed the scholars about the study abroad program which happens at Suffolk’s other campus in Madrid, Spain. Students asked many questions about what it’s like to attend the university, how it differs from other schools, and what the benefits are of attending a post-education institution in Boston.
As a rising senior myself, I found the tour to be eye-opening, informative, and a pleasure to cover as well.
