Greetings From Anny
Hello! My name is Anny Thach, but I like to be called “Anny with a ‘Y’” because it underscores the fact that my name has a “Y.” I am a rising senior at Fenway High School and I love epiphanies, new discoveries and people. I am a student of the Urban Scholars Program, which I have been a part of for three years. Prior to my enrollment in Urban Scholars, I was a student of the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP), which was also located on the UMass Boston campus.
This summer, I will be working on the Summer Youth Blog in collaboration with the Urban Scholars program, the John Hancock MLK Summer Scholars program, and the “IT” department here at UMass Boston. In addition to my internship, I will also be taking college preparatory classes here on campus and at Fisher College.
My aspirations in life are to explore the world and to visit places that I have never seen. I hope to travel, without debts, and to overall be happy while also partaking in new projects that create a better world.
I am really thrilled to be a part of this project that works with all the pre-collegiate programs here at UMass Boston this summer.
I see that seem interesting to see this greeting and that picture too. Well hello ANNY
