Northeastern University Field Trip

Northeastern University Field Trip

The rising seniors of the Urban Scholars program got the opportunity to visit the Northeastern University campus on Friday, July 12. Students got to visit the campus with a Northeastern University student and with Akunna Rosser, who serves as a college advisor for the program. Students enjoy college trips like this because they get to see a place they might be attending in a couple of years. Also, Rosser believes that the more awareness a student has about college and each college’s admission requirements, the more likely the student will try to get into more selective colleges. The rising seniors have an interest in different majors that include Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, Biology with Pre-Med Track, and Education.
