The Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) Pre-Dental Mentorship Program invites you to participate as a mentee for the Spring ’21 (February – June) semester!
This Program, sponsored by the HSDM Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Mentorship Club, strives to provide college students interested in dentistry with the opportunity to connect with DMD students at HSDM. Mentoring can be an extremely rewarding experience for all parties involved and serves as an effective way to increase diversity and promote the inclusion of underrepresented students in oral health.
The Program provides mentorship to candidates from groups underrepresented in medicine as defined by the AAMC, including, but not limited to Black/African American, Hispanic/Latinx, and American Indian/Alaska Native, as well as those from other marginalized groups (e.g., LGBTQ+, first-generation college student). These one-on-one mentoring partnerships would formally span a semester or academic year and could potentially result in lifelong relationships.
Please submit the following application if you are interested in participating as a mentee by March 5th: https://forms.gle/YMMt1kSbh51q2zUr7
