This program looks really cool and fun to use. It allows you to see who is going into you blog and how many hits you are getting.

This summer I have been really busy working and studying this is my 3rd class this summer. It has been fun but the summer is almost over and I feel like all i have been doing is school lol but its all worth it in the end.

The experience so far in working with my team mates is that communication is hard and getting responses from people can be difficult. Trying to get everyone to meet together and accomplish a goal especially on line is harder because of schedule conflicts and how everyone is so busy. I have used emails and discussion board so far it has been hard. we have a web meeting on skype this week and in a week, I’m hoping that everyone shows up so we can accomplish more as a group. So far I believe the one that will work best will be skype because you are talking and seeing the other people and therefore you can get a better feel for how they feel and are acting to the situation and the project. I think it is going to be tough to improve on the different types of communication we have today because the online communication we have today covers all different facets of working in group and it allows for simplicity if the members are willing and putting an effort to accomplish the goal.

These apps are a revolution especially when it comes to using them to fit your personal needs. For example I really enjoy playing golf, I have this one app that have all the golf courses I play at. This app has a built in GPS that tells me how far I am from the whole and then I can get the right golf club and hit it. It makes the game easier and more fun to play because I don’t have to be looking for markers on the ground telling me how far I am from the hole. The revolution of apps are here to stay and it will only get better.

Smart mobs are playing a very important role in society. We can see many social impacts due to how communication is so easily available now. There have been many protests that started through different mobile methods. We have seen recently government taking control over the internet in a country because they fear the people could create a powerful union and revolt against their leadership.

I find it very interesting how communication is going to a whole new level. Before there was a need for cables and wires, now  with the improvement of wireless internet less and less cables are being put in. These changes will have a big impact on the companies that own the rights to these communication outlets. The government had given them the right along time ago but today they are going away from that technology and into a better and faster one. These big companies still want to make their money and they will try to find ways to charge the people. I believe that as technology continues to progress less control will be in the hands of the big companies and more control will be in the hands of the users.
