The Reading, Writing, and Study Strategies Center will host two Exam Prep/Test-Taking Workshops after spring break! As always, RWSSC workshops are free to attend with no appointment necessary. The flyer below provides information on the dates/times when your students can stop by Campus Center 1-1300 to work on their exam prep and test-taking strategies.

Struggling to get all your reading done for class? Can't tell what information is important to highlight? Come learn some helpful ways to navigate your class readings at next week's Reading Strategies workshop! Details in the flyer below.

Do you ever feel like you just need some space? Have a hard time focusing on your work because your dorm room is just too noisy? That quiet space you found on campus is always taken because you didn't get there first? We're here to help!

Come to our Quiet Reading and Writing Space at our location in the residence hall! Students can study, read, and write in this quiet environment with a tutor present. We'll be hosting these quiet sessions every Monday from 6:30-7:30pm in the residence hall. More information can be found in the flyer below.

We're proud to announce our Spring 2019 workshop schedule! We have a few workshop opportunities available for UMB students to take advantage of throughout the semester.

Our Drop-In Workshops take place twice a week and focus on a different reading, writing, or study strategy. Next week’s workshops will focus on Time Management skills. All of our drop-in workshops will take place in our main location in Campus Center, room 1300, and are free to all students. No appointment is necessary!

We will have Weekly Writing Workshops every weekday at our main location in Campus Center. Please check out our flyer for when those take place. These workshops are also free and no appointment is needed.

We will also have Residence Hall Writing Workshops for those who want to take advantage of a writing workshop but don’t want to stray too far from the dorms. These workshops will take place in room 157 in Residence Hall East, across from the dining hall. These are also free drop-in workshops, and will take place twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. Please refer to the flyer attached for more information.

Lastly, if a student is interested in working with a tutor one-on-one, they are more than welcome to schedule an appointment with a tutor on our website:

You can find all the dates and times for our various workshops across campus in the flyers included below and on our workshops page on our blog.
