Snowstorm targets East Coast; New England braces for 15 inches

From CNN:

– A snowstorm that could last up to 18 hours was on its way to southern New England, and Boston could be snowed under with up to 15 inches, the National Weather Service said Sunday afternoon. var CNN_ArticleChanger = new CNN_imageChanger(‘cnnImgChngr’,’/2009/US/weather/03/01/winter.weather/imgChng/p1-0.init.exclude.html’,1,1); //CNN.imageChanger.load(‘cnnImgChngr’,’imgChng/p1-0.exclude.html’);

Monday’s commuters in the region could face a nightmare with blowing and drifting snow, freezing temperatures, gusty winds and periods of sleet. Flight delays and cancellations were likely, the weather service said.

Ski Time

Ski Train to Wachusett Mountain.

For more than two years, I’ve had no chance for skiing in Boston.
Today is the day to re-try it again.

We (my wife, my friend, and I) take the train from North Station at 8.35.
The train arrives Fitchburg at 10.06. The free shuttle takes us to the ski area, Wachusett Mountain.

We decide to have only lower lift tickets which are for beginners like us.

Unfortunately, the weather is also warm today. The snow is packed because there was raining yesterday.
There are wet snow spots around. However, we have much fun.

I hope I’ll have a chance to go there again when the nice snow condition becomes.

Good weekend, it charges my life for hard working of this coming weekdays.
