Lisa DeAngelis is the director for the Center of Collaborative Leadership, founded in 2001 by former University of Massachusetts Boston chancellor, Sherry H. Penney. The center has established a new paradigm for how organizations and individuals become successful—through collaborative leadership, a process built on teamwork, trust, and respect for diversity of thought.

A marquee offering of the center is the Emerging Leaders Program. The Emerging Leaders Program is a nine month experiential program that identifies and then develops new future leaders for Greater Boston – leaders who reflect the changing demography of our region and who embrace a collaborative leadership model.

Lisa has more than 20 years of divisional and corporate leadership experience with companies of all sizes, in diverse industries. This experience serves as a strong platform for her current work. Following her passion, Lisa helps professionals at all levels connect with their own capabilities and enjoys seeing the “light bulb go off” when they begin to recognize their potential.
