I am not entirely sure how to write one of these things, in fact its one of the things I dislike the most about English classes, but I guess ill give it a shot. My name is Eddie and I am half Puerto Rican (that is where my real name comes from), although most people don’t believe me because I speak almost no Spanish. Whenever I actually have free time I like to listen to music or play basketball, but that doesn’t come around often these days. I am a freshmen in my second semester, majoring in environmental science. As of now I have no determined goals other than finding a job I truly love to do. Unfortunately, I am still unaware of what that job may be. I plan to focus my studies more towards plants and animals and mostly the biodiversity and population of certain species. I always wanted to be a vet so I could save animals, but I cant stand to see blood. However, when I was a kid, I used to write short stories and poems all the time when I was bored. Writing can be fun sometimes because you have so much freedom. I think it is interesting how messages are conveyed through stories and how every one is unique in its own way. When I write I prefer to write in fiction because it allows me to use more of my imagination and there are less limits. I believe freedom is the most importance aspect of writing. Even though I enjoy writing, I have never really been into reading. Recently I have been reading a lot of science related articles. Most of the articles I read are about space, animals, or new energy. These are the topics i find to be the most interesting, especially space.
