Helping At-Risk Kids through Classical Conditioning and Token Economy

This article describes how classical conditioning is used to help teens who are at risk ‘juvenile offenders’, a member of the program describes it as “It’s classical conditioning. Students are rewarded for behavior we want to see.” They use positive reinforcement and constant feedback to encourage the teens. In the program they are also using something called the token economy which is mentioned in the book, and the point of the token economy is to positively reinforce their behavior. The article goes into greater detail describing how this works all together to modify or change the behavior of these students for the better.

I could not post it on the blog for some security reasons but the link is below.
