Around 10:00 am, we met the GCU students and started working on our Stem Cell wiki pages. After we separated into teams, we worked on our presentations for Friday. The project was accompanied by conversations about our educational system. One main difference was the lack of general electives. Most of the students attended exclusively science and mathematics courses. We were then able to sit in on a Chemistry lecture. The high energy professor made the time fly by. Soon we were in the labs collaborating on a  chromatography assignment. It was very nice to see  all the students wearing proper lab coats. After class, we took the subway also called “clockwork orange” because of the orange designs and the circular route. We stopped by an American themed restaurant, called Ketchup, which had very clever food titles. Finally, we closed the night with a fun trivia night with the local Glasgownians. Going with my tradition, here is a fun fact: Most of the attractions in Glasgow are within a 10min walk.

Till ‘morrow,
