School is back in session at Umass Boston and we on the Academic Support Team are excited to begin the task of keeping our classmates in the U.K. up to date on their schoolwork while they’re away.

Over the last few weeks leading up to the exchange we’ve done some good prep work for the week, which hopefully will get us off to a great start. The main resources we’re providing to our ambassadors are a contact sheet with information about how to get in touch with us in Boston 24/7, and an online document that we will fill with class notes as the week goes on. Also, I plan on emailing the ambassador team daily to make sure their needs are being met.

One bonus I can foresee to the extra notetaking that we’ll be doing is that I’m sure we’ll also get a firmer grasp on the class material than we typically would in a regular week.

I can easily speak for everyone on the Academic Support and Communication team when I say we are very excited to work with and get to know the Scottish ambassadors. We’re all looking forward to a productive week, and having a little bit of fun along the way.
