After a long flight from Boston Logan Airport we had finally landed in Glasgow Scotland! When we arrived the jet lag had kicked in pretty fast. The seven of us decided to grab a bite to eat and a coffee at a close by Italian restaurant. Finally around 2 o’clock we got to check in to our hotel room and take a quick power nap.

At five o’clock we met up with a few of the GCU students and had some pizza at Di Maggio’s and got to know each other. We started conversations just introducing ourselves and learning each others names. We then started to compare our cultures and talked about the different activities we do, different holidays we celebrate, and compared our slang. All of the UMB and GCU students seemed to click very fast. Right after dinner we decided to go for a walk with the students and have them show us around the center of town.
